Karate teacher charged with felony after kicking student

A karate instructor who teaches children in Hampton and Suffolk has been charged with felony child endangerment, after one of her students accused her of kicking him in the ribs more than 200 times, causing internal injuries, police said.

Mom suspected of burning girls transferred to jail

FORT WORTH — A Haltom City mother accused of killing her youngest daughter by setting her on fire and burning her other two daughters with gasoline was transferred from a local hospital to the Tarrant County Jail late Thursday, an official with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department said today.
